CompressKBNow offers a browser-based image compression utility free of charge. You do not need to create an account. The tool is provided for ordinary lawful use.

Your responsibilities

Only process images that you are authorized to use. You are responsible for verifying the resulting file's size, appearance, dimensions and format before submitting it to any other service. Some websites accept JPG but do not accept WebP, and some enforce a dimension requirement in addition to KB limits.

No guarantee of exact size

Image compression is a best-effort process, and a strict limit may not be achievable without unacceptable visual degradation. The tool may change image dimensions and format, and metadata may not be preserved by browser canvas processing. Do not use compressed files as the sole copy of irreplaceable images.

Service availability

The website is provided on an “as available” basis. Device capabilities, browser support, third-party hosting, and connectivity can affect availability and results. Nothing on this website constitutes professional or legal advice.
